Scientific Awareness Forum Ernakulam (SAFE)The Scientific Awareness Forum Ernakulam (SAFE) is an organisation of persons interested in spreading the scientific approach among the general public, especially to generate a love for science among school children. It conducts workshops, seminars and exhibitions for school / college students on request. SAFE conducted a one-day science workshop for school students from Ernakulam district during the summer vacations of 2002. The facilities were provided by the Kochi Refineries School, Ambalamugal. The program was appreciated much by the participants and their parents. You can watch some of the activities on that day in the following pages:  Dr.Bindu from the School of Atmospheric Sciences, Cochin University of Science and Technology, explains the functioning of a weather station to the participants.
